This Red Cross classroom-based course teaches how to recognize and support people in crisis after loss, grief, trauma, or stress — with a focus on self-care and personal protection.

Learners apply the Look, Listen, Link, Live model to build resiliency, cope with stress, and connect to supports in themselves and their community.

Note: An online portion must be completed before class. Please bring your completion certificate to the instructor.

Duration

  • Online: 45–90 minutes

  • In-class: 7 hours

Prerequisites

  • 18 years of age (recommended)

  • Completion of Psychological First Aid – Self-Care online
