Basic Life Support (BLS) course- (4 hours) - Canadian Red Cross

This course is designed for healthcare and emergency professionals, including:

  • EMR & PCP students

  • Nursing staff, care aides, medical & dental professionals

  • Pre-hospital providers (fire, rescue, lifeguards, ski patrol, sports medicine, etc.)

It builds participant confidence in CPR and AED use, bag-valve mask (BVM) ventilation, and team-based emergency response.

✅ Nationally recognized Red Cross certification
✅ Based on the latest evidence-based guidelines

Course Length

  • Full Course: 4 hours

  • Certification: Valid for 1 year (electronic certificate issued upon completion)

Schedule

  • Start: 8:15 am (8:30 am after paperwork)

  • End: ~1:30 pm (please ensure availability until then)

  • Morning break included

Course Requirements

  • 100% attendance

  • Minimum 75% on written exam 

  • Successful demonstration of all skills
