Remote First Aid- Canadian Red Cross

Course Date TBD

Wilderness First Aid Courses Return in April 2027

Our Wilderness First Aid courses are now finished for the 2026 season, but we’ll be back in April 2027 with more opportunities to get wilderness-ready.

This 20-hour course is designed for people who work or live in remote locations, or for outdoor recreation enthusiasts. It builds on Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid / CPR-C content with additional skills focused on remote and wilderness settings.

Participants also learn extended care strategies for up to 24 hours. This course takes place outdoors and requires more physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training.
