Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols or mobile security patrols of client facilities, properties, and designated perimeters.
• Enforce private property regulations, secure access gates, log visitors, and manage incoming/outgoing commercial traffic.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, fire alarms, and security breaches according to established standard operating procedures.
• Utilize proactive verbal de-escalation techniques to handle public disruptions, trespassing, and dynamic conflict situations.
• Write comprehensive daily shift logs, incident reports, and safety hazard assessments using digital reporting software.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• A valid provincial Security Guard Licence (mandatory).
• Current, valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification (Standard First Aid preferred).
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for clear radio communication and professional report writing.
• Strong observational skills, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and remain on patrol for extended periods throughout long shifts, indoors and outdoors.
• Clean criminal record check and eligibility to pass comprehensive background screening.
• Previous experience in loss prevention, crowd control, or mobile patrol monitoring is a strong asset.
